Targeted UK - MP's - The good, the bad......
HELLO ALL
My name is Ali, writing from the Targeted UK website. I am the marketer for Targeted UK, UK board member and representative for Icator, board member of Frank Allen's Targeted Massachusetts and volunteer for Aimee's Audios.
MPs - The good and the bad
A T-UK moderator had randomly bumped into thier now MP during thier canvassing in 2024. he spoke with them openly about targeting telling her to visit our website, then bumped into her again and she stated she actually looked at the site. We waited until after the election then got in touch as they had agreed to a meeting.
However, the response we have had received states they cannot help with targeting.
We felt rather discouraged with this negative reply, but over the last few days a fellow TI informed us of a much more positive repsonse from another MP, which we are now helping with. The MP has acknowledged awareness thier complaint.
We will keep you updated on this but at this time cannot disclose who said MP is.
Each time we speak with an MP, it can good one of 2 ways, good or bad, the idea behind our campaigns is to simply keep going, and even the bad / negative responses are a help, showing we have reached out, enlightened, explained, with no help repeatedly.
As and when the time comes, it will most likley be the case that MPs will be tasked with actually responding to thier constituents who are TIs.
Please remember we are here to offer advice and help in taking part in our efforts, there are files and help pages on the website, and if anyone does get a rpely from thier MP - you are welcome to let us know and ask for help.
We have on our team representatives working in international human rights in official capacites, and we are becoming more acustomed to dealing with politicians, learning typical replies and how to counteract them.

UK Group Litigation
Tim, the case forman, travelled to France to file the court appeal to the ECOHR. It was accepted which is positive as often cases are simply rejected, and we are waiting to hear back and will keep the community updated on this.
Icator is still waiting to hear more about the next UN - CRPD speaking event, it normally is in August annually, it may end up being next year. Icator president Melanie Vritschan is in regular contact with a rep form this UN department.
Melanie has recently spoken at a media event which will be pulished online this summer. She spoke along side some huge names about the misuse of military based technologies. More TBA.
As Icator is back on track now, we are exploring numerous avenues to obtain funding again to try and keep moving forwards at a faster pace. This has been tricky having tried in the past, so new avenues are being looked into.
To those who are members, please try to make your annual membership payment, and remember that instalments are OK for those who need them. Any additional donations - small or large, are always welcomed and appreciated.
