I never thought it could be so long and tedious to cut some wood properly πŸ˜† But today, some wood was finally cut! https://image.nostr.build/5cbfab25e9034018fe32e8b07b292d14a984eb0357ef64987481df72a4b86475.png https://image.nostr.build/9009774e55645cb6d6cf48414cb274da4b2207e8818c656a25aa26cd5a83f758.png I borrowed some tools (well everything) to do the cuts. Just basic tools, nothing super professional... Yet, it was enough to get some reasonable cuts. I used a bunch of things: 1) Circular Saw 2) Two tables to balance the wood 3) A couple of clamps to clamp the wood to the table 4) Measuring tape and a pencil 5) Some scrap straight wood as a cutting guide rail 6) Safety Goggles 7) No mask because I want the wood particles in my lungs (joke) 8) Straight edge thing to draw lines 9) Youtube to learn the tips and tricks to cut things and not body parts accidentally; links below (because it is my first time doing this stuff) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7QOhRRlr6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPz1orpvbyI&t=91s 10) One time assistance from someone who knows how to use the circular saw safely I had some issues, some wood splintering off the edges where it was cut, missing the cut lines etc. but nothing too bad that it can't be fixed or at least attempted again. I only managed to cut a few pieces today because this was my first time getting everything organised and getting educated on how to do this properly. I should be faster next time round and I hope in a few days I can get almost everything cut. πŸ₯ˆ I managed to pick up some pieces of wood for a reasonable price which are nice and light yet very sturdy due the special inner material. Not sure if I will apply the finishing to these pieces of wood or if I should get some nice already finished pieces of thin wood and just glue it on the frame. πŸ€” Either way, it needs to look good and look good in orange. #DIY #Bitcoin #Mining #Woodwork #Design #Noobstr
