It's a powerful tool that people can use to build communities, IMO. It's a client and a relay all in one, but also includes several tools and enhancements that make it more robust than just your normal relay.

i bought an esim from nostr:npub1vr2nva0s0hhfulthjy8053rg9kruk5erzwaxdw85gjwkfytj994sgudzvx over 2 years ago just to try it out. i just checked and it still has a couple gigs of data left and still works.
