It’s just not how things work in reality so rather than leave everything to random chance I’d say it’s better to be the ones with the guiding hand over the levers of control than leave it to chance.

Going back memory lane, does anybody remember or noticed how Covid ended with the Ukraine war? All of a sudden in February/March 2022, Covid silently ends. What changed? TVs stopped focusing on Covid and instead focused on the Ukraine-Russia war. This shows that most people do live by what the TV tells us. In other words, TV was and still is the main window to reality. People believe and do what mainstream TV tells them to do (especially the newspapers). If the TV is telling us there's a problem then there's a problem. This decoupling will take decades and there will be many ramifications.
