But the draw back is still going, I think they until about $250 trillion. The questions are: 1) will it be a hard or soft landing? 2) if hard landing, what will be the trigger?
Just light a fire on my counter and throw some food on top?

They have recipes for like complete meals. I need to learn how to make basic ingredients 😂

It's still very much a WIP (probably a month out from MVP), but since it's been discovered I figured I'd go ahead and introduce it.\n\nhttps://image.nostr.build/b9842d89fdc786ad3e86d692c4b52adce47e1bdd9daaf7d39cbf4806ecb75bc2.png\n\nMy goal for Coracle has for a long time been to support local in-person communities by replicating Facebook's events, groups, and marketplace. I've come to realize a few things about this project:\n\n- Facebook is not the gold standard. In fact, people hate Facebook.\n- There are many kinds of groups, for many different use cases.\n- Very small chat groups work for most use cases.\n- For almost all other groups, good moderation is key.\n- Decentralization for groups works differently from decentralization for microblogging. Microblogging use cases benefit from simultaneous use of multiple relays. Community group use cases (in contrast to reddit-style groups) benefit from a single relay per group.\n\nThis is just the barest summary of what I've learned. But it's all in line with my long-held intuition that relays are, and should be, special. To that end, I'm creating a new client built around the dumbest form of communities that can be created: relays as communities.\n\nLots of code and specs need to be written to make this work, and as with Coracle, it'll be possible to host your own flotilla instance that only talks to a single relay, as well as use flotilla on desktop and mobile as a PWA and APK.\n\nSee the dev preview at https://flotilla.coracle.social. If you're interested in contributing, I've created several issues on the repository that should be good for first-time contributors: https://github.com/coracle-social/flotilla/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue+label%3A%22good+first+issue%22","tags":[["client","Coracle","31990:97c70a44366a6535c145b333f973ea86dfdc2d7a99da618c40c64705ad98e322:1685968093690"],["imeta","url https://image.nostr.build/b9842d89fdc786ad3e86d692c4b52adce47e1bdd9daaf7d39cbf4806ecb75bc2.png","ox b9842d89fdc786ad3e86d692c4b52adce47e1bdd9daaf7d39cbf4806ecb75bc2","x 73143ab51584864f908555cff6113e3898f8dfd37cfb657a60036ae24fbc33cd","m image/png","dim 586x586","bh L69F*WxN0vWRWQWSawj^0]awfQWQ","blurhash L69F*WxN0vWRWQWSawj^0]awfQWQ","thumb https://image.nostr.build/thumb/b9842d89fdc786ad3e86d692c4b52adce47e1bdd9daaf7d39cbf4806ecb75bc2.png"]]}
there are plenty of other clients where doomscrolling isnt the focus. if you dont want to doomscroll, then avoid clients like amethyst, coracle, damus, gossip, nostrudel. instead, use the other stuff like hivetalk, zap stream, zap cooking, oddbean, flare pub etc
Yeah because everything in the kitchen is a fire hazard 😂
I also was confused by the UI, but if you use the square button on the right, you can login with a NIP-07 extension. Then, if you inject https://github.com/fiatjaf/window.nostr.js via bookmarklet, you can also use your nsecbunbker.
I wholeheartedly disagree when people say it’s wasting money to buy #coffee from a cafe every day. Tldr: Coffee from out is not a waste of money. If you disagree, you’re broke and need #bitcoin. Here’s why: 1. If you drink coffee daily at home, you’re still spending ~$2 to make it. If coffee out costs $3-5, you’re marginally spending more money, but not a lot. Annual cost would be a few hundred dollars more, especially if you aren’t getting mocha caramel frappacrap. 2. Getting outside is healthy and you get to be around people who are excited to drink coffee. It’s a social experience, even if you are just picking it up. You can also work from the cafe which has some weird ability to give you superpowers. 3. Coffee makes you very productive. Coffee from cafes not only tastes better, it is also stronger. The bigger boost of caffeine should make you more productive, more successful, and happier.
