🌊 SURF 'N TURF 🏝️ -THE ISLAND LIFE- "Life Is What You Make It: Find Your Own Path to Fulfillment" by Peter Buffett is a reflective and inspirational book that shares the author’s insights on creating a meaningful and fulfilling life. Peter Buffett, the son of billionaire investor Warren Buffett, draws from his own experiences to convey that one’s life is shaped not merely by circumstances or wealth but by choices, values, and purpose. Here are ten key lessons and insights from the book: 1. Define Your Own Success: Buffett emphasizes that success is subjective and personal. He encourages readers to define what success means to them rather than conforming to societal expectations or comparisons. Understanding one’s values and passions is essential for creating a fulfilling life. 2. Embrace the Journey: The author stresses the importance of enjoying the journey rather than fixating solely on the destination. Life is a series of experiences, and embracing both the challenges and joys along the way can lead to personal growth and fulfillment. 3. Create Your Own Path: Buffett shares that it is essential to carve out one’s own path in life. He explains that following in the footsteps of others or relying on external validation can lead to dissatisfaction. Individuals should explore their interests and passions to find their unique direction. 4. Value Experience Over Material Wealth: Drawing from his own experiences, Buffett highlights that true happiness comes from meaningful experiences rather than material possessions. Investing in relationships, personal growth, and creativity often yields greater satisfaction than accumulating wealth. 5. Live Authentically: The importance of authenticity is a recurring theme in the book. Buffett encourages readers to be true to themselves, embrace their individuality, and not be afraid to express their thoughts and feelings. Authentic living leads to deeper connections and a more fulfilling life. 6. The Role of Creativity: Buffett underscores the significance of creativity in life. He believes that everyone has the potential to be creative, and expressing creativity can be a powerful outlet for self-discovery and fulfillment. Finding ways to incorporate creativity into daily life is essential. 7. Learn from Failure: The author reflects on his own failures and setbacks, emphasizing that they are valuable learning opportunities. Embracing failure as a part of the growth process can foster resilience and lead to eventual success. 8. Give Back: Buffett discusses the importance of contributing to others and giving back to the community. Engaging in acts of service and helping those in need not only enriches the lives of others but also enhances one’s own sense of purpose and fulfillment. 9. Stay Open to Change: Life is dynamic, and Buffett encourages readers to remain open to change and adaptation. Embracing new opportunities and being willing to pivot when necessary allows individuals to navigate life’s uncertainties more effectively. 10. Cultivate Relationships: The author highlights the significance of nurturing relationships with family, friends, and the community. Building and maintaining strong connections with others provides support, joy, and a sense of belonging, all of which contribute to a fulfilling life. "Life Is What You Make It" by Peter Buffett offers a heartfelt exploration of how to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. Through lessons on defining personal success, embracing creativity, learning from failure, and cultivating relationships, Buffett inspires readers to take ownership of their lives and make choices that align with their values and passions. The book serves as a reminder that fulfillment comes from within and is shaped by the choices we make along our unique journeys. I've set up #Haven on a Pi 4, and helped on a VM install. It wasn't one click but it's not very hard. In 6-12 months I wouldn't be surprised if Start9 had a bunch of relays to pick from, but I wouldn't start using them until after they do the big upgrade to their architecture

I kind of agree. But even unhinged children need to be taught to think and reason within their developmental ability to do so. Sometimes that means giving them simple instructions like “if you can’t say something nice” but it also means telling them that it’s ok to stand up for themselves or others, even if it comes across as “not nice.”
