I think Damus defaults to nostr.build api so it’s nostr.build’s file size limit. I don’t know what it is but I remember having the same experience as you until I upgraded nostr build acc. This is not a good UX tbh.

Probably file size too large. We need better error handling. I could be wrong though. Try a crappy quality small image to see if it’s really the file size
