The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, often simply called Hatshepsut's Temple, was constructed in the 15th century BC, around 1458 BC. This extraordinary structure was built to honor Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs in the annals of ancient Egypt.
