Piet Mondriaan is considered a master of cold abstraction using only points, lines, and planes. At first, his works were mainly composed of landscapes such as trees and rivers drawn with inspiration from nature, but over time, his works became more diverse. It became more abstract. This work was created on his path to abstract painting. 2. This painting is a painting of an apple tree again in the spring of 1912 by an artist who had painted apple trees several times before.
