I think there’s a huge opportunity to get progressives on Nostr because it’s the only social media protocol that can provide real end to end encryption and privacy. Bluesky, threads, the fediverse, farcaster and the others have all given up on the idea of privacy as being too hard. Everyone on the left is freaking out and searching for freedom tools. And not just posting. I just listed to a round table of digital activists talking about strategies for the next 4 years. They brought up the need for a financial system that can’t be shutdown. From the anti-cop city Black Lives Matter activists in Atlanta to abortion access mutual aid networks, they’re all facing being locked out of the baking system and looking for alternatives. Let’s get them the tools they want and need. The tech is for everyone.
