The original wooden motte-and-bailey castle was rebuilt in stone during the 12th century. I will say though the one thing that they have going for them is due to their centralized nature they don't have the problems that nostr does when it comes to search and content discovery so there's that. If someone likes football or cats, they can subscribe to a topic and see all the posts relating to that pretty quickly.
