He still kinda winged the justification of the mnav premium. Sure, it's easy to argue that it should be above 1x. But he needs to better explain the value prop and opportunity cost of it being above 2x (or more). I can see it growing as much as there's a lot of bond-restricted capital looking to escape the debasement. But long term, it has be much closer to the 1x. What do you think?

Not seeing why they have to. They could let the individual tusks decided for themselves deleting content illegal for them to host. They don't though. Then again is another beast where the users seem to want it. 🤷‍♀️

is the expectation that the client servers would always look at the whole network?

I have a large bag of seeds I collected before I went carnivore. They're probably 6+ years old now I'd wager most are no longer viable. If you're not growing annuals each year & refreshing the seeds, they tend to become useless. I don't eat most vegetables now so it's not a huge loss for me. The good thing about the genetics I connect now is that they're stored living perennial plants. As long as the plant survives, so do the genetics. As I was driving back from the markets I couldn't help but draw similarities between genetics & information. We can share genetics with others infinitely. Like sharing ideas & information, it comes at very little cost.

Will was not around when we built nostr, he came to it quite late. I totally agree that his work on damus was, and continues to be instrumental. As I say he is one of the better ones. But the group think is around slagging off projects like blue sky and not trying to learn and make nostr better. Mocking other projects that have been way more successful is wrong. It should be rejected. Nostr needs to transform from an insular project to a collaborative one. It's the only way forward.

That would be nice at point-of-sale. The cash register displays a QR-code encoding a bitcoin address and amount on a screen and you photo it with your mobile.
