Not a reader - though I use Natural Reader for reading my pdfs. The script converts videos into articles. Still has a lot of ground to cover in the usability area. Code is quite a mess, but the general idea is 1) download a video from youtube, video or podcast 2) use YT's chapters to split apart the transcript 3) Feed each section to an LLM saying "this is a transcript, please transform it into an article using asciidoc". It uses Claude's api, but ideally it would use LangChain for any LLM you choose. I'm always two minds about this. The argument is for something that's never happened in the history of the world. You'd need a group of people that truly just want to cause chaos and watch the world burn, but that requires so much organization and planning I don't know how someone steeped in chaos could ever pull that off. It's like a walking contradiction. On the other hand... Your dad only has to be proven right once 😂🤣

one of the goals is damus is that it will continue to work after I'm dead. adding more and more centralized integrations that just break is not a direction I want to go with damus. saying that I don't care is oppsite from the truth, I care and want to do it the *right* way. one that actually makes sense for every user of damus, including japanese users who might not care about tenor memes. They have their own memes and gifs, having a nip94 gif relay would make way more sense in that context. People upset that I'm spending development time on reaching the 80% of the nostr market (android users) over a gif keyboard, is kind of crazy to me. We can't even begin marketing Damus without an android client. I like Nostr quite a lot. I did come for the tech but actually really like it because of the community. It’s pretty cool to be part of a global community of Bitcoiners of all countries, cultures, etc
