The Mukaab will rise as the centerpiece of a new 19-square-kilometer district called Murabba thatā€™s set to comprise over 25 million square meters of floor area and create 104,000 homes. If successfully constructed, The Mukaab would become one of the largest structures ever built ā€” its 400-meter height would be matched by a 400-meter length on all four sides. Designed as a ā€œpremium hospitality destinationā€, the vast cube structure is set to enclose 2 million meters of floor space, including a central atrium space framed around a spiraled tower. https://image.nostr.build/11ae43c31b50dbdee26c771df1c303dc60f93136a4a04b3a2b4c09c5b4f482ff.jpg The Mukaab aims to become the largest built structure in the world, measuring 400 meters in height, width, and length The Mukaab The $800 billion project aims to double the size and population of the capital. New Murabba Development Company (NMDC) is located at the intersection of King Salman Road and King Khalid Road, which is northwest of Riyadh. Set over 19 square kilometers, it plans to encompass 104,000 homes and 9,000 hotel rooms. Plus, there will be 980,000 square meters of retail space and 1.4 million square meters of office space. The Mukaab The main feature of the interior of the Mukaab will be a spiraling tower encased in a technological structure to create an immersive experience. The building will also feature a multitude of retail, cultural, and tourist attractions, along with residential and hotel units, commercial spaces, and recreational facilities. The project is set to be completed by 2030, according to the official statement of the Saudi Arabian government. If youā€™ve been fortunate enough to receive CPI inflation indexed raises every year over the past 5 years at your place of employment, your time is still being purchased by your employer at a 25-30% discount when measured against real inflation. You are working a quarter to a third of your week for free in real purchasing terms. If you have received only one sub 5% raise in that time, you are now effectively getting paid 80% of what you were making 5 years ago.

Itā€™s been around for several years, maybe as long as Alby although donā€™t quote me on that. I remember trying it when I first heard about it but personally didnā€™t use it much because the UI was browser based and that weirded me out lol. I think with the other wallets shutting down in the US it has just been a natural migration of users, especially for Nostr users since it supports NWC.

Just wondering.. Has Nostr protocol development departed from its core decentralised mission? Is it still possible for relays and/or applications to become a point of control to censor? Are people now just more concerned about its growth in users and basically making people comfortable so they'll stick around?
