The USA government has clearly caused a lot of this migration due to their interventionist actions throughout the world in the last decades, they have also facilitated the mass entry of illegal immigrants. The Mexican government created an inflation problem so big in 1994, that my father was forced to close his shop and be consumed by debt, so much so, that going to the USA seemed like the only option. My father didn't want to go to the USA, most latinos would choose to stay where they are, especially due to the strong family ties we have, but necessity will always overcome this desire.
