I closed mine last year. I had to cancel any recurring charges, wait a few days, then disconnect any cards attached and wait another few days, before the option was available. Then I had to request it, explain why, and request data be sent to me & deleted. The while thing took probably 3 weeks.

It means a lot, I sure am getting a lesson today Bitcoin core doesn't do HD by default and I hadn't actually backed dat ass up lol I've had generally fortunate experiences in prior data loss recovery incidents so I am optimistic, but some days the bomb has your name on it Good chance of at least a partial recovery... A simple tool that just detects possible wallets showed dozens on both disks and I will soon have both fully duplicated My likely worst case is losing my September's paycheck... But I hadn't touched that utxo and made a dozen others later so likely that even is there... Anyway, still in process... 4tb is a long time to copy, even when writing to a 3500mb/s nvme
