If you want to do sovereign zapping, at this time Id recommend either self hosted Alby Hub or LNbits with nwc support. Afaik, there are no other robust solutions that can handle it. Glad to be proven wrong... cashapp, fountain, strike, primal, wallet of satoshi, zebedee - all custodial, and none of these offer nwc. coinos, minibits - custodial, and limited support for nwc. We gotta stop swimming against the current.
Thanks for writing this, I now have another resource to direct people to when they ask me about contributing to FOSS

Just a PSA to people out there: There is no entitlement so deep as just insulting someone and then demanding to come on their show… then responding by saying their show sucks and don’t listen to it anyway. 🤣🤣 If you wanted fiat socialist personified, this is probably pretty close. Fastest way to get a permanent mute right here 👇🏻 BRB, gonna go angrily call Joe Rogan an idiot for some random thing he said & then tell him he’s ScAReD if he doesn’t invite me on his show to debate him immediately. nostr:note1pphtus3337fkmj967359uwjr40wx9e8yr4mz2huhh9dyftyzxecsrte2af
110. Bitcoin and payment for freelancers Bitcoin is becoming an increasingly popular payment option for freelancers in a variety of fields. Platforms like Bitwage allow freelancers to receive their payments in Bitcoin, even if their customers pay in fiat. This gives freelancers greater flexibility and enables them to protect themselves against inflation in their local currency. This illustrates how Bitcoin fits into the gig economy, offering solutions tailored to an increasingly digital lifestyle. #Bitcoin History #studybitcoin

Kicked in $20 onchain, thank Satoshi gees are so low. Do you have to run your own Lightning node to use it since the feds are attacking custodial wallets?
Oh, I remember 😅😂
109. Bitcoin and Education Education about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is essential to fostering their adoption. More and more educational institutions, such as some universities in the USA, are offering courses dedicated to blockchain and Bitcoin. Certification programs are also emerging, such as those offered by Coursera and Udemy, which enable students and professionals to acquire cryptocurrency skills. This trend could prepare the next generation to navigate an increasingly digitized and decentralized economy. #Bitcoin History

The idea that A caught something from B is a theory What is actually observed is clusters of illness It could also be that you were all exposed to some toxin or shared some deficiency Imagine some nearby field was spraying pesticides and you were all poisoned - it would look like you all got sick around the same time

Looking up kind numbers / tag letters is probably around 0.1% of development time. And you need a dependency for that, that has to be maintained, and version bumped a lot. A lot of us don't want to do that. Just creating an enum for yourself for the kinds you use is probably the most productive for devs with bad memory. But you can create that enum yourself for kinds and publish for everyone out there to use. If it's needed by many, it will be used. But expect some conflicts if the same kind is used by different apps. It's also a vector for supply chain attack, not to mention the case when the maintainer of the enum package goes on holiday and somebody wants to release sthg. For tags, it's even more complicated because tags semantics is different for each kind.
When you simplify reality into a concept or a maxim, always keep in mind that the map you have created is not the territory.

Your recent note inspired me to grab the app from the Apple App Store. 1.6 BTC sent directly to podcasts and artists by listeners in 2024? That’s 16 million sats per month! Amazing! 🔥

Yeah, there are lots of interesting cases where things don't pass from one person to another, but I think how often they do is more instructive. We are surrounded by germs all the time & it is generally the case that things don't get us most of the time. But a cold just went through a number of people at my grandfather's assisted living facility & then my parents who visit him every day got it, & then I got it from them even though I haven't been to see my grandad in a few weeks. So it just kinda makes sense that things are spreading through interaction of some sort, even if succeptibility differs from person to person. Ivermectin which has immediately knocked out syptoms for some things, did very little this time. Which makes me think the explanation about how it prevents replication or maybe the idea of replication itself is nonsense. It does something for some things, so there must be different mechanisms of infection. This one seemed completely isolated to my sinuses & upper respiratory system. My throat hurt & then my nose ran & then for a day or so all of the sinus cavities in my face seemed to hurt, even my ears. But it hasn't really caused much of a reaction from the rest of my body.
