The looters of the biosphere act quite similar. Silos of folks congratulating themselves on their looting technique and alignment. It is embedded in our culture. Remember, nature bats last (to borrow from #GuyMcPherson ). Me? I'm nothing. I am an outsider artist. But, I can see the myth behind culture. I can see the culture propagated and protected. I see you though, looters. Our culture created you. I've done my share. I'm not innocent. I have no desire to be a "legend". I couldn't care less if my frequent posts along these lines annoy looters and wreck my chance at being a legend. I'm ashamed of what we have done in 10,000 years, even though I came from it. Most of that time the myth was so powerful, I give a free pass with no judgment, but there is a period starting about 1962-1965 (Johnson's report on the environment or Rachel Carson's Silent Spring) to now, when it took some serious work to keep the blinders on as we continued to loot. Now, I find it hard not to judge; however, my audience is not this culture. My audience is for a future, after payback time, when we recede and nature makes a comeback. (And that's really good news.)
