It’s a copout to create an imaginary enemy (“the elites”) rather than take responsibility for achieving your desired outcomes. Blaming it on “the elites not zapping” is a coping mechanism to avoid being innovative, because being innovative requires effort and humility to admit your current approach is suboptimal.
