In my humble opinion, one of Bitcoin’s biggest problems is greed.
People who deal with cryptocurrencies are usually well-educated and intelligent.
Despite the widely spread myth that #BTC is untraceable, this urban legend has gradually been replaced by the truth: BTC offers neither privacy nor anonymity.
One of the main arguments of the greedy crowd is the existence of projects or predictions aiming to “adjust” BTC to become more private and anonymous.
Among the greedy, unfortunately, we find the “fanatics” who defend #Bitcoin at all costs and dismiss other cryptocurrencies no matter what.
Anyone who has had the displeasure of using the Nostur client will testify (or has already witnessed) how a “fanatic” can be prejudiced: the developer automatically assigns the poop emoji 💩 to any #xmr or #monero tag that appears in posts made by anyone.
What’s the real purpose of embedding this into the source code of a client for a supposedly censorship- and discrimination-free platform?
I even made a post about the #nostur issue some time ago, which the author read and replied to with nothing but: 💩
Very mature and definitely not prejudiced! #not
