In Dutch there is a word for this: ‘eigenwijs’. The literal translation would be ‘own wisdom’ But Google translates it as ‘stubborn’. I’ve been called eigenwijs more than I can count, and most of the times it wasn’t meant as a compliment. But eigenwijs as I am, I always took it as one. And I’m very happy with where my life is as a result of it 👊
