I see now those wars going on, countries trying to censor others from trading... The payments Channel cannot be censored anymore, because there's Bitcoin. But the good transportations channel can, because it's physical. China built the Belt and Road project so it can transport quicker and cheaper to Europe, and evade US chokepoints (to bypass censorship). When I read this stuff I always imagine the same level of censorship being attempted at lightning network and Nostr. In LN the equivalent would be nodes trying to block each other, which is impossible. In Nostr it will be like me trying to mute you, also impossible. But this happens all time to mastodon/fediverse, where servers block each other and block those who don't block. Mastodon is a pure feudal world.
