They’ve been cut off since the storm as all the bridges surrounding them are all down. After a week of continuous support from locals, HAM operators, and local LE, they have water, food and tonight the small community is singing around a fire and celebrating as a community of neighbors. The HAM operators here are sharing some of their thankfulness to those who’ve helped. It’ll be another week or two before they get power or running water and maybe a month or two before a new road gets cut.
