To recap, the base structure and outer walls are now joined. It looks like a big rectangle box with vent holes on the side.
You can see in the first picture how some of the edges are raised, these need to be level with the rest of the wall so that I can do the finishing work later. https://image.nostr.build/084d8fd3f8c828018bee5262bf69a62c1045b24330bcad52249cdb1aa5cf844e.png
Some of the screws were sticking out so I had to take them out and make a deeper hole in the wood so the screws sink in more before I can remove the edges. https://image.nostr.build/fbb9d2eeca335d6d54ce8d771dcbeef80f7e664baa9a15c8524f9cfae610ae59.png
I also removed the staples from the outside of the structure before working on levelling the edges. https://image.nostr.build/9db4f8eeaae8afd75dfc8635d773f4cbec407d342a7da969aedb0a11ba101eea.png
Now I am all set to start using a planer machine to begin levelling this edges. My first time using this machine and I watched a few YouTube videos on how use it properly and safely. https://image.nostr.build/d5f56123ad80313f96954f28fa94ec02e98c0f3165aff513c9a7a41b6de9274c.png
I start using the planer and Fvck up the wall in less than 30 seconds. 😅 🤣 https://image.nostr.build/895455dc5db1c0ae5f7deaf801518b235e47f722d1ee227651a0eed209e45c7a.png
Made some rookie mistakes here and decided not to use the planer and I resorted to using a simple sanding machine to level everything down. This is minor damage and won't be seen anyway as it is an internal wall within the completed unit. Lesson learned and it was not too expensive. 😌
Now the outside of the structure is nice and level and ready for the finishing work. But first, I need to make and fit in the two internal walls.
