so here is a story and please roast me if im being ridiculously stupid.. the year is 2013 around May - im fresh outta college and just come back from working overseas.. I get my first job which was in real estate as my degree didn't really give me much hope to start the corporate ladder.. looking back im very happy that is the case.. So my bank account had always been linked to my dad since I think 16 as I was funded by him whilst studying and trying to play professional sport.. I did work the odd job at the local restaurant.. so.. first months salary hits my bank account and I get a call asking if I wanted a CC - I was shocked and ask for advice and my dad said yes.. so I naturally agreed and it was around $350 credit line... I get this thing and I think im a fucking billionaire - but when I get it my dad sits me down and explains it... I got the living shit spoken in my ear that you ALWAYS SETTLE THE CARD or DONT EVER USE IT.. First ever swipe was for a lunch of 5 people back from a road trip and I shat myself on how I was gonna pay $45USD back then.. little did I know that you could claim lunches and stuff as business expenses and get refunded haha.. moron I was.. but here is where it gets fucked up.. about 2 cycles of paying the card off I got another call (salary has stayed the same) - Sir, would you like to increase your limit.... mmmm I think and ask the person - how much are you offering.... $20k... I said you joking right? Salary at the time was only fucking $250USD.. I ended up taking the card and have maxed it out buying stuff and always paying it off (2013-2020) credit was good.. Now my gripe is that surely that's irresponsible banking? I had no assets(still don't).. and a salary at a fraction of that.. if id maxed it out on frivolous shit id still be paying it off as the interest rate is fucking 29% per annum... Oh goodness I nearly forgot.. They also somewhere in 2016 gave me another $5000 overdraft - still on a similar salary.. Imagine the shit show out there with people being irresponsible.. Anyways - back to BITCOIN.... #bitcoin
