when they stop pretending to be helpful you know that societal collapse is upon you interesting times... we get the extra bonus of a several decade period of extreme weather on top of it... this is going to really accelerate the process like we have seen now with Helene what happens next, we had that chemical spill on the trains, and there's been another similar disaster now, and now helene, what next, nuclear meltdown, i mean, if this same government is regulating the nuke plants there could be a problem for the established old ones with the tentacles deeply embedded into their business model and all the grids going down, we can look to South Africa for an example of what happens when the government goes full socialist, the roving gangs of copper thieves gets into full swing i heard many stories from people in Bulgaria about the gypsy wire thieves... and similar to south africa, the response was a dramatic increase in the use of and number and size of private security companies and i had several people tell me that when they caught the thieves breaking into construction sites and ripping off cable reels they would beat the living shit out of them before the cops would show up and the cops also hated the gypsies so it didn't stop being bad for these guys but with a totally corrupt police force as well, .... i guess the bright side of it is as the feds get worse, the state and municipal cops have an easy time of looking a lot more legit... there's been so much of this now i mean it's really getting out of control... literally residents versus feds+imported south american criminal gangs at this point
