Perhaps 'Zaps' are cool in that they show a bit of interest and support for what others have said/done, but, do they really add value to Nostr and to Nostr users? Yeah, it's interesting. I've had people 'zap' me as little as one, or 21 sats... or even 1000 sats. But what is that, really? And why even do it other than to self aggrandize? Still, it is always fun to see even one sat be zapped. And yet, it seems a bit foolish at the same time. I'd say, if you like someone's post, at least zap 1000 sats or thirty cents! $.30. While that is still next to nothing, at least you are showing some slightly meaningful approvial. But zapping one sat or 21 sats... What the hell is that other than just making zero impact and most likely just making yourself feel that you've done something, which you have not, unless you are thinking of the future in 50 years where that is actually SOMETHING!
