Building on my design post 18 days ago. I decided on adding some ducting to help keep the hot air contained and forced out rather than having the warm air build up the internal compartment (right side of unit). It's also much easier to use ducting here than trying to build a custom internal unit! I'll need a Y ducting piece for this, can buy one or can easily make it with existing materials in the garage. This contrasts to the cold air section (left side of unit) where there is no ducting, just maximum room for air to flow in. I thought about how big to make the airflow holes on the visible outside of the unit.
