I think that people are still stuck in the old concepts. There is no socialist motive behind government actions such as social equality. The don´t have any interest in an equal society. The capitalistic system run by parties, which NEED MONEY TO SURVIVE, have formed a cartel with big corporations to extract taxpayers money to finance themselves. To get reelected they have to compete in getting the votes of the masses. And what is easier than throwing printed and tax payers money out to the people in order to get their votes. Elections bother them, but still they have to accept them. The system has installed a perfect symbioses between corporations and political parties. Corporations provide the money (and get it back through war and pandemics etc.) and political parties provide the laws to feed the corporate monster. It looks like a form of socialism, but it´s the end stage of the old capitalistic system. Printed money is the root cause of it, because 140 Trn US$ assets under management, AUM, are desperately looking for yields. These AUM grew exactly with the printed money expansion since 1971. These AUM are the monster that needs food and enslaved the political parties and the politicians in order to provide MONEY FROM THE TAXPAYERS. That´s why we need decentralized systems like #bitcoin and #nostr and a decentralized society.
