Spam enablers (& apologists) may not like these charts because it seems like acceleration in the growth of UTXO set has been decreased compared to last year. Yes op_return might have played some role in it but hats off to the minority of people in the #bitcoin space who have been calling out this spam (valid txs for scammers) since it started in 2023. This wouldn't have been possible without them IMO. Spam apologists may rationalize these charts by stating that there is no demand for spam and that's one of the major reasons why it's dying without mentioning the fact that majority of blocks have been still filled with the pure garbage (aka spam/scam).
