I studied many crypto projects during 2017-2018. My findings (from what I could understand from white papers) were that every project tried to do something bitcoin does, but “better”. What they actually did was nothing special, with lots of shady behind the scenes manipulation. I believe #bitcoin is and will continue to be the future we should aspire too, however, why should we not at least toy with the ideal that something else could be beneficial? Blind allegiance is a problem everywhere, yes, even in the bitcoin community. Never stop questioning
