Its an interesting thing. Nostr has no global, you're always viewing nostr from some a local perspective, so you model from the 1st person instead of some omnicient 3rd person view. It helps you navigate your local network & relays and make decisions upon who's ideas you want to be reading, rather than some omni-algorithm that thinks you'll like something cuz engagement.
