This strike has me thinking. In the past I would have fallen for the whole thing hook, line and sinker. Now, while ofc I want the longshoreman to get fairly compensated for their time (haven’t dug in to the specific details of that part wrt this strike), thanks to nostr:npub1s05p3ha7en49dv8429tkk07nnfa9pcwczkf5x5qrdraqshxdje9sq6eyhe I am acutely aware that their demand to ban all automation at the ports is completely unrealistic. Automation is inevitable… it’s just a matter of time. The port in Guangzhou, China, is already 100% automated. Wild times ahead as we transition to the new world.
