algorithms aren't evil by nature. it's the way they're used and operated in legacy social media that makes them bad. if the algorithm is open, transparent, and allows for user control and configuration, then that's a major win. it's what many are building here on nostr and it's a welcomed change. choosing your own algorithm is very powerful.
