How long have you been on Nostr? I do have a feeling it may take you at least a year to build a solid following that engages with your content regularly. And I do think you may be in an echo chamber from time to time. I certainly feel that way at times. No matter the social media, I think it takes a while for people to care and want to talk with you. And it may even be harder for that to happen here since there is no algorithm that will boost your visibility.
