Back when the BlueSky bluehairs were still obediently on the Twitter teat, and nostr didnt exist, i was all into the Fediverse, Secure Scuttlebutt, and self hosting. I looked at bluesky then, and came to the conclusion that the claims of decentralization were dubious at best, intentionally deceptive at worst. And dismissed it. seeing the same people who championed mass censorship on Twitter, now championing the “decentralization” of Bluesky is chapping my ass.
