You’d be surprised. These are not impressive people, they are party apparatchiks. I’m certain there are people inside the central banks who understand it completely and others who at least understand enough that it’s a threat to them, but someone like Bullock whose been inside the RBA for decades or Kroger whose a Liberal Party stooge, they’re not the kind of people who go and expand their minds with novelties. They exist in a power structure and that’s all they know. Anything outside of that seems irrelevant to them because they don’t imagine there are other avenues of power being the midwits they are.
