During the Thirty Years’ War in 1648, Swedish forces seized the manuscript from Prague, and it was taken to Sweden as war booty. The codex currently resides in the National Library of Sweden in Stockholm. The codex measures 36 inches in height, 20 inches in width, and about 9 inches in thickness, weighing around 165 pounds.
