the updates on Kingdom Two Crowns aside from the new DLC with the ancient greek themed Olympus thing are awesome archers (slingers) now stick to manning towers near the edges of the city and if it gets late in the night and no geedies arrive on their side they run over to help out on the other side a lot of the animations have been made smoother and faster and the interaction with coins and using them to make orders for production has got a lot smoother and faster, visually it's definitely improved a lot, and it was awesome fun game already i'd probably enjoy having sessions in coop mode with anyone who also enjoys this type of game, it's quite unique, a tower defense, base building realtime strategy game with a mechanic where you have limited ability to move around the map to issue orders for production and other triggers, and it has adorable pixel graphics that are very amusing and kitsch and the reactions of the npcs to your presence is comical, they are always tipping their hats and bowing and stuff, throwing their coins at you i kinda feel funny about that stuff, it's almost like the game is about collecting taxes and state company production, super commie, but fuck it, it's a game, and you can actually play with multiple players so you can concurrently manage a city and collect gold and direct production... so... i mean... it's a nice economic model basis for a game i remember Settlers was a bit like this in the sense of the depth of its economic model... there hasn't been as good games as these in a long time and this one feels like it will be remembered as the Settlers game of the 20s
